William Alfred “Bill” Baker, 76, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Naples, Florida. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, on September 4, 1948, Bill was remembered as a dedicated physician, proud serviceman, and adventurous spirit. After earning his Medical Degree at Ohio State University, Bill went on to become a respected anesthesiologist, devoting his professional life to the care and comfort of others. Complementing his medical career was his distinguished service as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Air National Guard, showcasing his unwavering commitment to both country and community.
Outside of his professional and military obligations, Bill passionately pursued life’s adventures. He was an avid private pilot who found joy and freedom soaring through the skies. He cherished skiing the snowy slopes and kayaking tranquil waters, embracing nature at every opportunity.
Bill is survived by his beloved brother, Robert A. Baker. He will be fondly remembered by family, colleagues, and friends as someone who lived life fully, always ready for the next adventure.
Though he will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him, his legacy endures in the countless lives he touched throughout his accomplished and adventurous journey.

I will always remember my only brother, Bill. He was very energetic and wanted to be the best in all his endeavors. He devoted his life to skiing, kayaking, and patient care. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all the patients that he helped. May his memory be a blessing.
